Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea face Borussia Dortmund on the road in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tonight.

The Blues are currently winless in their last eight away games and will be aiming to end the streak against the Bundesliga giants.

Predicted Line-up:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been an undisputed choice in goal since the World Cup. The Spaniard has benefitted from Edouard Mendy's injury and he is expected to continue between the sticks tonight.

In defence, there could be a couple of changes. Reece James should start at right-back, but we fancy Ben Chilwell to replace Marc Cucurella in the left-back position.

Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile have been nailed-on starters in central defence in the past few outings, but there will be an enforced change with the latter not part of the Champions League squad.

Hence, Kalidou Koulibaly should come in to partner Silva tonight.

In midfield, it should be the same personnel from the 1-1 draw against West Ham. Enzo Fernandez has been splendid for Chelsea since his debut and he should continue alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Further forward, there will be at least one change. With Noni Madueke ineligible for the game, Hakim Ziyech could replace him on the right side of the Blues attack.

The rest of the frontline should stay the same. Joao Felix should feature in the number 10 role with Mykhaylo Mudryk on the left wing. Kai Havertz is set to lead the line.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Arrizabalaga; James, Silva, Koulibaly, Chilwell; Fernandez, Loftus-Cheek; Ziyech, Felix, Mudryk; Havertz.
