Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) vs Huddersfield Town, Salah and Coutinho start

Liverpool will look to get their season back on track when they host Huddersfield Town at Anfield. The Reds suffered a 4-1 demolition at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, and this has dropped them to ninth in the Premier League standings.

  • Chelsea eyeing part-exchange deal to sign Osimhen
  • Chelsea & Arsenal handed blow in Bundesliga striker pursuit

  • Jurgen Klopp is likely to make key changes to his first XI for the Terriers, and he is unlikely to take David Wagner's side for granted following their shock 2-1 league triumph over Manchester United last weekend.

    Formation: 4-3-3

    Lineup:

Simon Mignolet had another embarrassing moment in the 4-1 loss to Spurs, and he could be swapped for Loris Karius. Dejan Lovren had an equalling disappointing game where he was subbed off in the first-half itself, and Klopp is likely to axe the Croatian.

In Lovren's place, Joe Gomez could get the nod in central defence alongside Joel Matip. Trent Alexander-Arnold is a likely contender to start at right-back with Nathaniel Clyne still injured, while there could be a start for Andrew Robertson ahead of Alberto Moreno at left-back.

The midfield options are pretty much fixed with skipper Jordan Henderson likely to partner Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum in the centreĀ of the park.

The Reds attack was the only positive during the Spurs thumping, and Klopp could stick with Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah on either side of Roberto Firmino, who is the much-fancied striker ahead of Daniel Sturridge.

Liverpool lineup: Karius, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Andrew Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Can, Salah, Coutinho, Firmino
