Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Nottingham Forest, Martinelli injured

20 May 2023 - 13:45

Arsenal travel to City Ground for this evening's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Gunners suffered a surprise 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend. Mikel Arteta will want a strong response on the road.

    Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale has played every minute of the Gunners' top-flight campaign and he is expected to start between the sticks against Forest.

In defence, Ben White, Jakub Kiwior, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney are expected to retain their places from the Seagulls loss.

William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko won't take any part in the game, having already been ruled out with season-ending injuries.

Jorginho has partnered Granit Xhaka in the centre of the park over recent outings and Arteta could stick with the same midfield partnership.

Further forward, there will be an enforced change with Gabriel Martinelli out for the season. He suffered a serious ankle injury last weekend.

In his absence, Leandro Trossard should start on the left wing. The rest of the attack should stay the same from the past few outings for Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are expected to line up in the right wing and number 10 roles with Gabriel Jesus playing as the main striker.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Magalhaes, Tierney; Jorginho, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Jesus.
