Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) against BATE Borisov, Ozil and Iwobi start

Predicted Arsenal XI to face BATE

Arsenal are at the Emirates Stadium for the second leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie against BATE Borisov. The north London side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the Borisov Arena earlier this month and they now face a must-win situation to progress further in the competition.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Petr Cech has been the regular goalkeeper for the Cup duties this campaign and the veteran should reclaim his position between the sticks against the Belarusian outfit.

In the defence, Emery should revert to the traditional four-man backline after going overly cautious against BATE on the road. In this case, we are anticipating Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi in the central defensive roles with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac featuring either side of them.

In the centre of the park, Matteo Guendouzi may potentially get the axe to accommodate an additional attacker. Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are the likelier duo to make up the central midfield department in such a situation.

In the attack front, Mesut Ozil is likely to return to the fray for the crunch showdown and the German could take up the number 10 position with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi flanking him either side. Upfront, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is certain to lead the line with Alexandre Lacazette suspended after his reckless red card last week.
