Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-1-2) to face Valencia, Ozil and Lacazette start
Arsenal are scheduled to entertain Valencia at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final tonight.
The Gunners are currently in a poor run of form with three league defeats on the bounce and they need to produce a strong performance against Los Che in order to enhance their prospects of securing potential silverware as well as their qualification to next season's Champions League.
Formation: 3-4-1-2
Predicted Lineup:
Petr Cech has been the preferred choice ahead of Bernd Leno for the Europa League duties. The veteran is expected to keep his position between the sticks against Los Che.
In the defence, Unai Emery could revert to a three-man backline and we are anticipating Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Sokratis to take up the places.
Ahead of the trio, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac are pretty much certain to slot into the right and left wing-back positions while Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka should feature in the centre of the park.
In the attack front, Mesut Ozil should return to the mix after recovering from a foot problem and he is likely to feature in the number 10 role ahead of the frontmen.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are most likely to feature together upfront, considering they provide the Gunners with the best chance of finding the scoresheet against Los Che.
