Arsenal ready to sell midfielder for £25m
Arsenal are ready to part ways with midfielder Matteo Guendouzi following his season-long loan stint at Hertha Berlin.
The Frenchman has made 82 appearances for the Gunners in his career, but it appears that he has no future with the club.
According to Football Insider, manager Mikel Arteta has no plans of reintegrating the midfielder into the squad.
It is added that the club will sanction his departure and are confident of earning around £25m in the next transfer window.
Guendouzi was axed from the squad by Arteta last year after he grabbed Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay by the neck.
The Gunners boss has made it clear that he won't tolerate indiscipline of any form and the club are prepared to offload the midfielder permanently.
Aside from Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira could also be offloaded once he returns from the temporary stint with Atletico Madrid.
Joe Willock, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Eddie Nketiah and Calum Chambers have also been tipped to head for the exit door.
