Chelsea ready to offload 23-year-old striker
Chelsea are prepared to sanction the sale of Tammy Abraham after extending the contract of Olivier Giroud.
The 23-year-old played just 16 minutes during the final three months of last season, as Thomas Tuchel constantly ignored him.
Timo Werner and Kai Havertz were preferred to lead the line, while Olivier Giroud was occasionally handed game time.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues could keep Giroud next season after triggering an extension clause in his contract.
This could have a direct impact on the future of Abraham, who was not even on the bench for the Champions League final.
Leicester City and West Ham United are interested in the Blues graduate, who was the joint top-scorer for the Blues last term.
He bagged 12 goals and six assists from 32 appearances. He has two years remaining on his contract with the west London club.
The Blues value him at £40m, but reports claim that they could settle for around £30m after his lack of game time.
