Chelsea make decision on Callum Hudson-Odoi
Chelsea have no plans of sending Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan, a report from The Athletic claims.
The winger has been an unused substitute in all three Premier League games, and it was suggested that he could leave on loan.
Borussia Dortmund were prepared to guarantee him playing time in his preferred left-wing position, but a deal won't happen.
The west London giants have blocked his proposed loan move with Thomas Tuchel wanting sufficient options in the squad.
The Blues have Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner as among the attackers.
Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to break into the starting XI easily, and he could be restricted to minutes off the bench this term.
A loan move would have been ideal for him, but it appears unlikely to happen with the Blues making their final decision.
Similar to Hudson-Odoi, midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will stay with the Blues despite the imminent arrival of Saul Niguez.
