Spurs missing six players for Rennes encounter

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be without six players for the European meeting against Rennes tomorrow.

The north London club qualified for the Europa Conference League with a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season.

They start their group stage campaign against Rennes, and ahead of the game, Nuno Espirito Santo has provided some team news.

Son Heung-min, Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Bergwijn were all injured last weekend, and only the latter has made the squad.

Meanwhile, Davinson Sanchez, Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero are still under quarantine after their duty with Argentina.

Eric Dier handed a fresh blow for Spurs last weekend with an early injury. He has stayed in London with Son and Sessegnon.

Spurs have an important derby against Chelsea on Sunday. Nuno is bound to make several changes for the Rennes encounter.

Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Emerson Royal, Sergio Reguilon and Hugo Lloris are all expected to feature on the bench.
