Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-2) vs Liverpool, Partey and Tierney start
Arsenal face Liverpool on the road in today's Premier League clash. The Gunners have the opportunity to jump into the top four with a first league win at Anfield since 2012.
Predicted Line-up:
Aaron Ramsdale has established himself as the new number one ahead of Bernd Leno. The England international is expected to start between the sticks against the Reds.
Nuno Tavares has played at left-back in the past few games with Kieran Tierney being out with an ankle concern. The Scot is now fully fit, and he should replace the Portuguese.
The rest of the backline should remain unchanged. Ben White and Gabriel are set to continue in central defence while Takehiro Tomiyasu is expected to continue in the right-back spot.
In midfield, Thomas Partey is braced to return after overcoming a thigh problem. The Ghanaian could be accompanied by Ainsley Maitland-Niles rather than Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Lokonga had a tough outing against Watford before the international break where he was dispossessed in the Gunners third on multiple occasions. He may be dropped to the bench.
Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are likely to operate on the right and left side of midfield. The Gunners graduates could move into more advanced positions in attack.
Up front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are guaranteed their spots after recent displays. Lacazette has three goals and two assists in eight league meetings against the Reds.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-2): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Saka, Partey, Maitland-Niles, Smith Rowe; Lacazette, Aubameyang.
