Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Leicester City, Lukaku and Mount start
Chelsea entertain Leicester City in tonight's Premier League game at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have the chance to cement their third spot on the table with at least a point.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Predicted Line-up:
Edouard Mendy has been ever-present in the Premier League, barring his absence due to African Cup of Nations duty. He is expected to start between the sticks.
In the backline, no changes are expected from the FA Cup final loss. Trevoh Chalobah should continue to partner Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger at the heart of the defence.
Reece James and Marcos Alonso are undisputed starters in the wing-back positions. Alonso could be playing his final home game for the Blues with talks of him pushing for an exit.
In midfield, Mateo Kovacic could be missing with an ankle issue. This should pave the way for N'Golo Kante to partner Jorginho. The former is now fully fit after a muscle concern.
Further forward, it could be similar to the FA Cup final. Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic could continue in the attacking midfield role with Romelu Lukaku leading the line once again.
Kai Havertz is a doubt with a fitness concern while Timo Werner could also miss out on the game, having picked up a hamstring injury in the warm-up before the FA Cup final last weekend.
Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Lukaku.
