Arsenal will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they entertain Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
The Gunners have played out back-to-back goalless draws in the top-flight. They will be eyeing a victory to move seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City today.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya is guaranteed to start between the sticks for the Gunners. He has kept 11 clean sheets in the Premier League season and will be aiming for another shutout.
The backline could witness a couple of changes from the 3-2 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes are likely to be reinstated.
White should line up at right-back with Jurrien Timber at left-back. Gabriel is set to partner William Saliba in the heart of the defence. Myles Lewis-Skelly and Cristhian Mosquera will make way.
Martin Zubimendi is assured to start as the defensive midfielder, but there should be changes elsewhere. Mikel Merino and Eberechi Eze are set to be replaced by Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
In the final third, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard should be confirmed starters on the right and left wing respectively. It could be Viktor Gyokeres leading the line ahead of Gabriel Jesus again.
Jesus scored a brace in midweek, while Gyokeres netted a stunning long-range goal off the bench. The Swede's strong physical presence upfront should see him get the nod as the number nine.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man Utd: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Zubimendi, Odegaard, Rice; Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard.
