Chelsea are scheduled to face Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku on Wednesday night. The Blues have recently been hampered by season-ending injuries to key players but they will still be hoping to produce a strong showing to end the campaign with potential silverware.

  • Man Utd eyeing move for Chelsea defensive duo?
  • Erik ten Hag confirms triple Man Utd injury boost for Newcastle game

  • Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been a constant in the Europa League through the campaign and the Spaniard is expected to feature between the sticks against the Gunners.

In the defence, standing skipper Cesar Azpilicueta is certain to slot into the right-back spot with Emerson featuring on the opposite side of the central defence ahead of Marcos Alonso.

At the heart of the backline, Sarri should field David Luiz and Andreas Christensen with Antonio Rudiger sidelined for the season with a knee problem while Gary Cahill is no longer in contention for gametime.

In the midfield, the manager faces another difficult situation with Ruben Loftus-Cheek out with an Achilles problem while N'Golo Kante remains a major doubt after twisting his knee in training.

In this case, Jorginho should take up the holding midfield role with Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic being the automatic choices to fulfil the other positions in the centre of the park.

In the attack front, Eden Hazard should make his presence on the left wing and in the opposite flank, Pedro should get the nod over Willian after making a bigger contribution in the past two knockout rounds.

Upfront, Olivier Giroud should lead the line ahead of Gonzalo Higuain after leading the scoring charts for the competition with 10 goals. The Frenchman will be eyeing his first strike against his former club.
