Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Fulham, Gabriel starts

26 August 2023 - 12:46

Arsenal will be aiming a third-straight Premier League win when they host Fulham at the Emirates Stadium today.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star

  • The Gunners have an exceptional league record against the Cottagers at home and they have never lost in their 30 meetings.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping to extend the streak with another three points.

    Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale has started in the opening two league games and has a clean sheet to his name. The shot-stopper is expected to continue in the upcoming derby.

Arteta may revert to a more traditional back four after experimenting with Thomas Partey in a right-back/midfield role. Gabriel Magalhaes could partner William Saliba in central defence with Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko in the full-back roles.

Zinchenko will replace Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is suspended while Magalhaes could come in for Kai Havertz. In the centre of the park, Thomas Partey could feature as the number six with Declan Rice operating from a more advanced position.

There are no changes expected in the Gunners attack. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes are assured starters in the wide positions similarly to Martin Odegaard in the number 10 spot. Eddie Nketiah should lead the line ahead of Gabriel Jesus, who has just returned from a knee surgery.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah.
