Predicted Manchester City lineup (4-3-3) vs Chelsea, Sane and Jesus start

Man City will travel to west London without Aguero

Manchester City will look to maintain their slender lead in the Premier League when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Citizens are currently on 16 points for the season, and they are just ahead of rivals Manchester United on goal difference.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Ederson Moraes has had a good start to his Citizens career with the backline coping with the opposition attack. He is a certainty between the sticks.

With Vincent Kompany still lacking match fitness, Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones are likely to keep their places in central defence.

Kyle Walker will start in his regular right-back role, while it could be a pick between Danilo and Fabian Delph in the opposite direction.

Fernandinho can also slot in at left-back but Pep Guardiola could go with Danilo, who was rested for the midweek Champions League clash.

Moving forward, Fernandinho is likely to feature in a deeper midfield role with Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva forming a partnership in front of him.

Sergio Aguero is alleged to have suffered a rib fracture in an accident yesterday, and this could potentially sideline him for a few months.

In his absence, Leroy Sane could earn another start. Raheem Sterling and Sane are likely to play on either side of Gabriel Jesus, who will be tasked with leading the line.
