Predicted Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1) vs AS Roma, Hazard and Fabregas start

How Chelsea could lineup at the Stadio Olimpico

Chelsea will look to strengthen their grip at the top of their Champions League when they take on AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday night.

The Blues bagged a solid 1-0 victory over Bournemouth last weekend, and Antonio Conte will hope for a similar result versus the Giallorossi - prior to the weekend's league clash against Manchester United.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Thibaut Courtois has remained the first-choice for the Premier League and Champions League duties, and he is a certain candidate to start in goal.

Gary Cahill is likely to come into the mix following a rest versus Bournemouth, and the skipper could probably partner David Luiz and Andreas Christensen.

Cesar Azpilicueta could be pushed to the right wing-back role for the clash with Marcos Alonso pretty much certain to feature in the left wing-back position.

Danny Drinkwater returned from his calf problem during the 2-1 League Cup triumph over Everton last week, but he is unlikely to be risked for such a key encounter. Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas could be tipped to start in central midfield once more.

Further forward, the likes of Eden Hazard and Pedro will be expected to feature on either side of Alvaro Morata, who remains the first-choice striker ahead of Michy Batshuayi.

Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1): Courtois, Cahill, Luiz, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Pedro, Hazard, Morata
