Predicted Chelsea lineup to face Liverpool

Chelsea will seek to maintain their eight-match unbeaten run across all competitions when they face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge tonight.

The Blues secured a 2-1 comeback triumph over the Reds in the League Cup in midweek and they have another opportunity to exhibit their dominance with successive victories against their rivals in the space of four days.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Spain international Kepa Arrizabalaga got a rare rest day against the Reds in the League Cup in midweek but he should return in goal for Saturday's late kick-off at the Bridge.

In defence, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso should feature from the off on either side of the central defenders whilst Gary Cahill is likely to partner David Luiz at the heart of the backline - with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen due to undergo late fitness tests to determine their availability.

Onto the midfield, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho are certain to keep their places as they have done in each of the opening six league matches and they could be partnered by Ross Barkley, who was instrumental towards the Blues' midweek Cup triumph at Anfield.

Further forward, Eden Hazard is an undisputed starter after his wonderous solo effort in the dying stages of the midweek game and he should slot into the left side of the attack.

Aside from this, Sarri may prefer the services of Pedro and Olivier Giroud on the right wing and centre-forward positions respectively after both Willian and Alvaro Morata were ineffective on Wednesday night.
