Predicted Liverpool XI vs Everton

Liverpool have the opportunity to return to the top of the league standings when they face Everton in the Merseyside derby on the road.

Jurgen Klopp's side are currently two points behind Manchester City on the table but they can make up the deficit by beating their cross-town rivals in their game in hand.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Brazil international Alisson Becker has played every minute of the Reds' league campaign and he is expected to feature in goal for Sunday's derby at Goodison Park.

In the defence, no changes are expected with Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson on right and left side of the backline while Virgil van Dijk should partner Joel Matip in the central defensive positions.

Likewise, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum should maintain their positions in the centre of the park, although James Milner could be replaced by skipper Jordan Henderson in the three-man midfield pivot.

In the attack front, Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi could slot into the right and left side of the attack with Sadio Mane leading the line once more after bagging two goals in the recent 5-0 thumping of Watford.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Roberto Firmino has recovered from the minor ankle concern but the Brazilian could feature from the bench, given they are still doubts regarding his fitness to start the game.
