Hazard and Giroud start, Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) to face Everton

Chelsea will be maintaining to close down on the top four positions when they face Everton on the road tomorrow.

The west London side are currently three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal but they could potentially go level with them by beating the Toffees for the first time in three attempts.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has started in every league game for the Blues barring one. The Spain international is expected to start between the sticks, eyeing his 13 clean sheet of the league campaign.

In the defence, Maurizio Sarri should resort to the regular combination from recent weeks, and this should witness the returns of Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz to the starting lineup after their bench roles in midweek against Dynamo Kiev.

Azpilicueta and Emerson are very likely to feature on the right and left side of the backline while Luiz should once more partner Rudiger in the central defensive department.

In the midfield, Jorginho continues to remain Sarri's prime choice for the holding role despite the fan criticism and the same should remain the case against Everton at Goodison Park.

Ahead of him, N'Golo Kante should feature in a central midfield position alongside Ross Barkley, who has been regularly swapped with Mateo Kovacic for the third midfield position.

In the attack, Eden Hazard remains the undisputed choice on the left wing and he could be partnered by Pedro on the opposite flank after the Spaniard was restricted to a bench role in midweek.

Upfront, Olivier Giroud could earn a rare league start since the turn of the year following his maiden hat-trick for the club in midweek. The Frenchman has found himself playing second fiddle to Gonzalo Higuain of late.
