Predicted Chelsea lineup vs Leicester City

Chelsea make the trip to east Midlands to face Leicester City in the final gameweek of the Premier League campaign.

The Blues have already cemented a Champions League spot for next season but Maurizio Sarri may still go with most of the regulars to secure a third-place finish for the campaign.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga was the hero between the sticks against Eintracht Frankfurt as he made two saves in the penalty shoot-out triumph. He is likely to keep his position in goal for the Foxes clash.

In the defence, Gary Cahill could feature for the Blues for one final time in the Premier League. The ex-England international should partner David Luiz at the heart of the backline with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso either side of them.

In the midfield, Jorginho could be afforded a rest for the game and we are anticipating Mateo Kovacic into the position. Alongside him, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley are the likelier candidates to feature with N'Golo Kante still on the sidelines with a hamstring concern.

In the frontline, there could be starts for Gonzalo Higuain and Pedro, who featured on the bench against Frankfurt. Higuain is likely to lead the line with Pedro on the right wing while Eden Hazard should feature on the opposite end, considering the game could be his final league outing in the Blues' shirt.
