Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Arsenal, Mount starts

Chelsea entertain Arsenal in tonight's Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently six points ahead of fifth-placed West Ham United with a superior goal difference.

A victory over the Gunners in the London derby should guarantee their spot in next season's Champions League.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Edouard Mendy has been the regular choice in goal for most of the campaign. The Senegal international is expected to start between the sticks tonight.

In the backline, a solitary change is expected with Andreas Christensen out with a hamstring injury. Thiago Silva should return to the line-up to partner Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger.

Reece James should continue at right wing-back after a standout attacking display vs Manchester City. Marcos Alonso scored the winner against the Cityzens, but he could make way for Ben Chilwell in the opposite end.

Jorginho was rested last weekend with Billy Gilmour partnering N'Golo Kante. It could be vice-versa this time around with Kante dropping to the bench for the Italian to start.

Further forward, Mason Mount seems certain to start after earning a well-earned rest on Saturday. Mount has netted five goals in the top-flight since Thomas Tuchel took charge in January.

He could be accompanied by Kai Havertz, who has been in good form since the last international break. Timo Werner has been misfiring upfront, but he has been a good creative presence. He has bagged one goal and three assists in his last five league appearances.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1): Edouard Mendy; Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger; Reece James, Jorginho, Billy Gilmour, Ben Chilwell; Mason Mount, Kai Havertz; Timo Werner.
