Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Bournemouth

Chelsea return to Premier League action tonight against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently ninth in the league standings with a nine-point gap to the top four. They desperately need to beat the Cherries in their first game after the World Cup break.

Predicted Line-up:

Kepa Arrizabalaga is back after his injury and has been training longer than Edouard Mendy, who was at the World Cup with Senegal. The Spaniard is expected to start in goal.

In front of him, it could be a familiar trio of Trevoh Chalobah, Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly in central defence.

With Ben Chilwell injured, Marc Cucurella should start at left wing-back.

Reece James, who is available after a long-term knee injury, is expected to be reinstated in the right wing-back position.

Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic are very much guaranteed starters at the heart of the midfield under manager Graham Potter.

In attack, Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling are most likely to play either side of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang today.

The former Arsenal man has scored in three of his previous four Premier League appearances against the Cherries.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-3): Arrizabalaga; Chalobah, Silva, Koulibaly; James, Kovacic, Jorginho, Cucurella; Mount, Aubameyang, Sterling.
