Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Molde, Nelson and Lacazette start

26 November 2020 - 17:20

Arsenal are scheduled to face Molde on the road in tonight's Europa League clash. The Gunners have picked up the perfect tally of nine points after three group games and another victory will seal their round of 16 spot.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Predicted Lineup:

Alex Runarsson is expected to be handed another chance in goal ahead of Bernd Leno, who is the undisputed shot-stopper in the Premier League.

In the defence, there could be a completely shuffle from the goalless Premier League draw at Leeds United last weekend.

Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are likely to feature in the right and left-back positions with David Luiz partnering Shkodran Mustafi in the central defence.

In the centre of the park, Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka are expected to keep their places with Mohamed Elneny out due to COVID-19 while Thomas Partey is still injured.

Nicolas Pepe letdown his teammates at Elland Road with his direct red card in the second half, but he has travelled with the team to face Molde tonight.

The Ivorian is expected to start on the right wing and could be accompanied by Reiss Nelson in the opposite flank. Joe Willock should take up the number 10 role.

Upfront, Alexandre Lacazette is set to start after playing no part in the Premier League outing in West Yorkshire. The Frenchman has not scored in any competition since September.

Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1): Alex Runarsson; Cedric Soares, Shkodran Mustafi Mustafi, David Luiz, Ainsley Maitland-Niles; Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos; Nicolas Pepe, Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson; Alexandre Lacazette
