Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Manchester United, Odegaard starts

Arsenal will be aiming for a sixth straight Premier League win when they face Manchester United on the road today.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The Gunners have made the perfect start to the season with 15 points from five games, and will be hoping to extend the fine form.

They are currently one point ahead of second-placed Manchester City, and have the opportunity to extend the gap at Old Trafford.

    Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale is a nailed-on starter for the Gunners in goal. He has kept two clean sheets this campaign, both on the road. He will be eyeing another shut-out.

The defence should stay unchanged from the last three outings. Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney are assured starters. Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has travelled with the team after a knee injury, but may make the bench at best.

With Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny out with muscular problems, Granit Xhaka looks set to be accompanied by Albert Sambi Lokonga once again. The pressure will be on the latter as he will come up against the likes of Casemiro in the United midfield.

Further forward, no changes are likely. Martin Odegaard suffered a swollen ankle against Aston Villa in midweek, but seems to have recovered in time. He looks set to start in the number 10 position with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli starting on the wings.

Gabriel Jesus is a confirmed starter for the Gunners up front after a stellar start to his club career. The Brazilian has amassed three goals and three assists from just five appearances for the club.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney; Lokonga, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus.
