Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Watford, Lacazette starts, Sanchez on the bench

How Arsenal could lineup vs Watford

Arsenal will seek to continue their recent unbeaten run when they take on Watford on Saturday. The Gunners are currently on 13 points after seven games into the campaign, and they occupy the fifth spot on the table.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech has been ever-present in the Gunners lineup since the start of the season, and he is certain to feature between the sticks.

Both Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac will have late fitness tests, and we are backing them to return to the first XI at Vicarage Road.

Alongside Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Rob Holding could slot into central defence with Shkodran Mustafi presently out with a thigh injury.

Hector Bellerin will start on his regular right wing-back spot whilst summer signing Kolasinac will feature in the opposite direction.

Aaron Ramsey is likely to retain his place in midfield following his Wales' disappointment, and he will feature alongside Swiss footballer Granit Xhaka.

Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck are back in normal training after recovering from their respective injuries, but Wenger has hinted that the former is still short of fitness.

Taking this in regard, Alex Iwobi could retain his spot alongside the returning Danny Welbeck whilst Alexandre Lacazette is the leading contender to start up front.

Alexis Sanchez has started the last couple of games for Arsenal, but Wenger has suggested that he will take a look at the mental condition of the attacker before including him in the matchday.

The 28-year-old suffered a massive disappointment in midweek with Chile failing to qualify for the World Cup finals, and he could make the bench at best.
