Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) vs Manchester United, Coutinho and Salah start

Liverpool will lineup without Sadio Mane on Saturday

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool will look to end their lean patch in the Premier League when they entertain Manchester United in Saturday's early kick-off from Anfield. The Reds have won just one league game in their last four attempts but there is every chance that they will turn up against United owing to their excellent record versus top-six opposition. The Merseyside giants have lost just a solitary game to the Premier League big-boys in 2017, and Klopp will hope for a positive result versus United - regardless of the hamstring injury sustained by Sadio Mane.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Simon Mignolet has remained the regular between the sticks barring his surprise absence in the 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal. The Belgian is likely to start versus United.

Both Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren have trained prior to the United game, and they could be in line to start at the heart of the defence.

With Nathaniel Clyne still injured, Joe Gomez could get the nod over Trent Alexandre-Arnold on the right side of the backline, whilst Alberto Moreno could feature in the opposite direction.

Sadio Mane's absence is likely to prompt Klopp to make a positional change on Philippe Coutinho, who could play higher up the field.

Skipper Jordan Henderson and Emre Can literally pick themselves in the centre of the park while Georginio Wijnaldum could partner them in a three-man midfield.

Mohamed Salah has been a huge hit during his short time at Anfield, and he will be up for the game after helping Egypt qualify for the World Cup finals.

Coutinho is likely to slot into his regular left-wing role whilst Roberto Firmino will most probably be preferred ahead of Daniel Sturridge up front.

Liverpool (4-3-3): Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Salah, Firmino
