Predicted Chelsea XI vs Southampton

Chelsea make the trip to the south Coast to face Southampton in Saturday's early league kick-off. The Blues are pretty much out of the top four race, and their focus may lie on finishing the season strongly with an FA Cup semi-final against the same opposition still to come.

Formation: 3-4-3

Lineup:

Thibaut Courtois has been the preferred choice between the sticks for the Blues, and he will be desperate to keep a clean sheet after failing to do in the previous six games ofr the club.

In defence, Cesar Azpilicueta is very much certain to retain his spot after contributing a goal last weekend, and he should be accompanied by Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger in a three-man backline.

Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso have not been in the best of form of late, but there are pretty much automatic choices under Antonio Conte for the right and left wing-back positions.

Onto the midfield, N'Golo Kante remains an undisputed choice in the centre of the park, and Conte could stick with Cesc Fabregas alongside the Frenchman, owing to the Spaniard's ability to provide through balls from a deeper position.

Alvaro Morata continued his revival with an assist versus West Ham United, and he will be eager to impress once more upfront. Eden Hazard and Willian are likely to flank him on the left and right wing respectively.
