Predicted Arsenal XI vs Chelsea

Arsenal will seek to pick up their first league win of the campaign when they make the trip to west London to take on Chelsea. The Gunners were disappointing in their opening day 2-0 defeat to Manchester City and manager Unai Emery will be expecting a better showing in the derby.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Petr Cech got the green light from Emery to start the season opener versus the Citizens and the Spaniard has since confirmed that the veteran remains the first-choice. He should start in goal.

In defence, summer signing Sokratis should partner Shkodran Mustafi at the heart of the backline but there is expected to be at least one change in the full-back positions.

Hector Bellerin is very much certain to feature in the right-back spot but Emery may consider Nacho Monreal in the opposite direction with Ainsley Maitland-Niles now in the treatment room with a leg fracture.

In the midfield, Mateo Guendouzi is likely to start in the centre of the park after a promising debut versus City and he could lineup alongside Aaron Ramsey and Lucas Torreira - the latter who may replace Granit Xhaka.

In the frontline, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil may slot into the left and right wing positions respectively for the encounter but we are fancying Henrikh Mkhitaryan to make way.

Mkhitaryan struggled to showcase much creativity in the season opener and this may witness Emery utilise the services of Alexandre Lacazette, who was impressive during his substitute appearance versus City.
