Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) vs West Ham United, Aubameyang and Iwobi start

Predicted Arsenal lineup to face West Ham United

Arsenal will be aiming for their first points of the Premier League campaign when they entertain West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The Gunners have made a poor start with back-to-back losses to Manchester City and Chelsea and they should fancy their chances of beating the Hammers, who have been in a similar run of league form.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Lineup:

Petr Cech has got the trust of Unai Emery to become the Gunners' number one shot-stopper and he is certain to start in goal versus West Ham after making several key saves during the recent derby defeat to Chelsea.

In defence, Emery may not tweak the combination and this should witness Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal slotting into the full-back positions with Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos occupying the heart of the backline.

However, we are anticipating at least one change in the centre of the park with Lucas Torreira replacing Granit Xhaka in the starting lineup. The Uruguayan should partner Mateo Guendouzi, who has been the club's standout performer after the first two games into the season.

Further ahead, Alex Iwobi is likely to warrant a role after impressing in the derby defeat last weekend and we are fancying him to start on the left wing with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the opposite end.

Mesut Ozil has been pretty much average during the opening two games of the campaign and Emery may consider dropping him to the bench to start Aaron Ramsey in the number 10 position.

Upfront, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is very much certain to start and the pressure is now on him to open his goal tally for the campaign. The Gabon international was at fault for missing two clear-cut chances versus Chelsea.
