Predicted Liverpool XI vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Liverpool will seek to secure a third straight Premier League triumph when they entertain Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield this evening.

The Reds have looked comfortable in the opening two games with six goals scored and none conceded and Jurgen Klopp will be aiming for another victory to keep the momentum going.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Alisson Becker has done a fantastic job since becoming the club's number one and he is presently leading the Golden Boot race after keeping two shutouts. He should start between the sticks for the Brighton visit.

In the defence, no changes are expected from the previous weekend with Klopp confirming that Dejan Lovren is still on the sidelines whilst Joel Matip is unlikely to display a settled combination.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson should feature on either side of central defence where Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez will be eyeing yet another clean sheet.

In midfield, the situation is quite the same with Jordan Henderson likely to have to adjust to a bench role. Reds vice-captain James Milner has started the campaign in a bright vein of form and Klopp has recently suggested that he would not hesistate starting him regularly despite his age.

In this case, Milner should take up one of the three midfield positions alongside Geoginio Wijnaldum and summer signing Naby Keita, who is unlucky to have not yet registered an assist for the Reds.

Onto the attack, Klopp has no selection headaches whatsover with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino expected to make up the front three.

Among the trio, Mane has been the most successful since the start of the season with three goals including a brace in the opening day triumph over West Ham United.
