Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) vs Sheffield United, Jorginho and Giroud start
Chelsea will make the trip to south Yorkshire to face Sheffield United this evening.
The Blues are currently third in the standings with 60 points on the board, but they face a must-win game at Bramall Lane in order to preserve their Champions League spot. Leicester City and Manchester United are presently only one and two points behind them in the standings.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Lineup:
No changes are likely in the backline. Kepa Arrizabalaga has come for criticism from the fans this term, but he made a crucial save in stoppage time of the 3-2 win at Crystal Palace. He is expected to start in goal.
In the defence, Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta should retain their right and left-back positions respectively. At the heart of the backline, Andreas Christensen should accompany Kurt Zouma, who made a tremendous tackle in the dying seconds of the Blues' win in midweek.
Jorginho is likely to take up the holding midfield position with Billy Gilmour unavailable following a serious knee injury. In front of the Italian, Ross Barkley and Mason Mount should retain their places on the back of their impressive form since the restart.
In the attack, no changes are expected. Christian Pulisic and Willian should feature on the left and right wing respectively with Olivier Giroud leading the line. Giroud has bagged three goals from the last five league games and should retain his spot ahead of Tammy Abraham.
Predicted Lineup: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Willian, Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud
