Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-1-1) vs Everton, Martinelli and Tierney start
Arsenal face Everton on the road in tonight's Premier League clash. The Gunners can move within one point of fourth-placed West Ham United with a victory.
Predicted Line-up:
Aaron Ramsdale has played every minute in the league since the September international break. The England international has produced multiple stellar displays and has been almost flawless. He is expected to continue in goal ahead of Bernd Leno.
The backline could see a solitary change with Kieran Tierney getting the nod over Nuno Tavares. Mikel Arteta has preferred to stick with a settle defensive combination over the part six games, but the Scot could be handed an opportunity to impress, having been displaced by Tavares recently.
Thomas Partey had a poor outing against Manchester United in midweek, and he has personally admitted the same during a Sky Sports interview today. The Ghanaian will be aiming to redeem himself tonight and could be accompanied by Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Emile Smith Rowe remains a big doubt for the Merseyside trip after being substituted with a muscular concern at Old Trafford. His absence could see Gabriel Martinelli feature on the left side of midfield with Bukayo Saka on the opposite end.
Martin Odegaard turned from hero to villain in midweek after conceding a costly penalty which led to United's winner. He is still likely to continue in the number 10 role, having impressed prior to that, scoring the equaliser at 2-2 from a counter-attack.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to lead the line once again. Arteta has publicly backed the club captain ahead of the game, citing that he has been trying hard without finding success. Alexandre Lacazette may have to settle for a bench role.
