Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Crystal Palace - Monday

Arsenal make the short trip to south London for Monday's Premier League kick-off against Crystal Palace.

The Gunners have won six of the previous seven matches, but face a big test of their credentials at Selhurst Park.

They have tended to struggle against Palace with just one win in the previous five encounters (four draws).

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale is a big doubt with a hip injury, and looks set to miss the derby. In his absence, Bernd Leno should continue in goal for the second league game running.

In front of him, it could be an identical backline from recent months. Cedric Soares, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney are expected to make up the defence.

Takehiro Tomiyasu has returned to full training after a second calf injury of the year, but may not be rushed back to action. Cedric, who has fared well recently, should continue at right-back.

In midfield, it should be the familiar pairing of Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey. Partey has looked the player of old since January, and will be high in confidence after Ghana's World Cup qualification.

Further forward, there may be a solitary change with Gabriel Martinelli reclaiming his left-wing position from Emile Smith Rowe. He missed the last game at Aston Villa through an illness.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are guaranteed starters in the left-wing and number 10 role. The same can be said for Alexandre Lacazette, who has constantly led the line since December.

Lacazette has netted just four league goals this campaign, but has been excellent with his hold-up and link-up play. He has notched seven assists since the beginning of December.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Leno; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette.
