Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace, Odegaard returns

19 March 2023 - 13:05

Arsenal will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host Crystal Palace in the Premier League today.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Mikel Arteta confirms big injury boost for Spurs clash

  • The north London giants recently suffered a shock Europa League exit at the hands of Sporting and they will be aiming to make amends.

A victory against the Eagles would extend their gap at the top of the table to eight points ahead of the upcoming international break.

    Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale will be aiming for his 13th clean sheet of the Premier League season. His poor positioning led to Sporting's vital equaliser in midweek and he will be hoping to redeem himself.

In defence, Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko will start in the full-back positions. Rob Holding is likely to partner Gabriel Magalhaes in central defence with William Saliba out with a back concern.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are the manager's regular duo in midfield when it comes to the Premier League. The pair are expected to line up together with Jorginho dropping to the bench.

In attack, Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus should drop to the bench from midweek with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard taking their places. Gabriel Martinelli will start on the left wing.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Magalhaes, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Trossard.
