Predicted Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Everton, Belgian trio start

How Chelsea could lineup versus Everton

Chelsea will look to maintain their recent momentum when they take on Everton in the fourth round of the League Cup. The Blues secured a superb 4-2 comeback win over Watford last weekend, and Antonio Conte will be determined to continue the run in Wednesday night's Cup tie.

Lineup (3-4-2-1):

Willy Caballero is almost certain to replace Thibaut Courtois in goal. The veteran made his competitive debut for the Blues in the 5-1 thumping of Nottingham Forest in the previous round.

The backline could see a couple of changes with Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz likely to be rested. As a result, Andreas Christensen could come into the back three alongside Gary Cahill and Antonio Rudiger.

Davide Zappacosta could take up the right wing-back role with Kenedy getting some much-needed gametime in the left wing-back position.

Conte is unlikely to take any risks with his young graduates, and this could see him persist with Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko in central midfield.

Further forward, we could see all Belgian trio with Eden Hazard and Charly Musonda featuring in the left wing and right wing respectively, while Michy Batshuayi will certainly lead the line after heroics against Watford.

Chelsea(3-4-2-1): Caballero, Christensen, Rudiger, Cahill, Zappacosta, Kenedy, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Musonda, Hazard, Batshuayi
