Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Norwich City, Wilshere and Walcott start
Arsenal host Norwich City in the fourth round of the League Cup on Tuesday night. The Gunners secured a resounding 5-2 triumph over Everton on Sunday, and they now have the opportunity to progress further in a cup competition, which they have never won under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger.
Lineup (3-4-2-1):
With David Ospina out injured, Wenger could be tempted to persist with Petr Cech. The Canaries are unbeaten since early August, and the Frenchman may not fancy handing Matt Macey his Gunners debut.
Onto the defence, Rob Holding is pretty much certain to start and he could be accompanied by Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal - both of whom played no part in the Europa League triumph over Red Star Belgrade last Thursday.
Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have been the preferred picks in the right wing-back and left wing-back positions of late, and Wenger is likely to continue with the pair.
Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny will most probably be the central midfield partnership on the night with Wenger likely to keep Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka afresh for the Swansea City game this weekend.
Moving forward, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere are certain candidates to start behind the main striker Olivier Giroud, who has started exclusively in the Cup and Europa League games.
Wilshere and Walcott combined excellently prior to Giroud's stunning overhead winner against Red Star Belgrade, and their movement will be interesting to watch against Daniel Farke's men.
Arsenal (3-4-2-1): Cech, Koscielny, Holding, Monreal, Nelson, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Elneny, Wilshere, Walcott, Giroud
