Predicted Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1) vs Manchester United, Hazard and Fabregas start

How Chelsea could lineup against Man United

Chelsea will look to return to winning ways when they host Manchester United in the final Premier League game before the international break.

The Blues suffered one of their worst defeats in Champions League history on Tuesday night after they were humbled by a 3-0 scoreline at AS Roma.

Antonio Conte's side could have lost by a few more goals to make it embarrassing but Thibaut Courtois saved their blushes.

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Lineup:

Thibaut Courtois had a top game versus Roma despite the defence crumbling ahead of him. The Belgian is certain to start between the sticks.

Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz had a night to forget in Europe, and Conte could bench the pair in place of Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen.

Skipper Gary Cahill was probably the best centre-back versus Roma with limited flaws, and the Englishman could partner the duo at the heart of the backline.

With Azpilicueta in central defence, Conte will surely go with Davide Zappacosta at right wing-back - just as he did in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend.

Marcos Alonso has been an automatic choice in the left wing-back role without much competition, and the Spaniard will be fancied to start his 11th game on the trot.

Both Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas were wasteful in central midfield, and Conte could drop the former to bring in N'Golo Kante, who the Italian could take a risk with.

Kante has been struggling with a hamstring problem over the past month, but he insisted earlier in the week that he is 50/50 to make the United game.

Further forward, we could see regular faces with Eden Hazard and Pedro likely to retain their spots on either side of Alvaro Morata, who is likely to get the pick over Michy Batshuayi.

Morata has failed to find the night against any of the top-six opposition this campaign, but he will be tasked with testing a United side, who could be setup to defend once more by Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea lineup (3-4-2-1): Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Christensen, Zappacosta, Alonso, Fabregas, Kante, Hazard, Pedro, Morata
