Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) vs Manchester United, Hazard and Cahill start
Chelsea will be aiming to prolong their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign when they take on Manchester United in their home patch on Saturday. The Blues are currently on 20 points for the top-flight season with only goal difference splitting them from leaders Manchester City.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Lineup:
Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the Blues' first-choice goalkeeper since the start of the league season and he should continue owning the position between the sticks.
Likewise, Sarri has preferred to stick with a settled defensive combination and this should witness Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso keep their positions on the right and left side of the defence. However, there could be a potential change at the heart of the backline with Antonio Rudiger struggling with a groin problem. In his absence, club-captain Gary Cahill may earn his maiden league start of the season alongside David Luiz.
Onto the midfield, there are no concerns regarding the positions of N'Golo Kante and Jorginho and the pair should reclaim their roles without doubt. However, Sarri has to decide as to who may start between Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic and the former could get the nod after his recent performance at Southampton where he bagged a goal and an assist.
In the attack, Eden Hazard is a certainty to start on the left side of the attack after bagging seven goals and three assists from just eight league games this campaign and he could be partnered on the other flank by Pedro, who should by now have regained full fitness after a shoulder problem which restricted his gametime last month.
Upfront, Olivier Giroud should once more feature ahead of Alvaro Morata despite his failure to find the scoresheet. Unlike Morata, the Frenchman offers more in terms of the hold-up play and distribution and he has proved the perfect foil for Hazard with three assists for the Belgian. Giroud previously scored during the 1-0 triumph over Liverpool last term.
