Predicted Chelsea lineup vs Norwich City

Chelsea are scheduled to host Norwich City in tonight's Premier League clash. The Blues are currently third on the table with a one-point advantage over both Leicester City and Manchester United. They have the opportunity to boost their Champions League prospects with a victory over Daniel Farke's side.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga's shot-stopping has come under question this term, but he continues to remain the club's number one goalkeeper. He is expected to start in goal.

In the defence, Frank Lampard may prefer a traditional left-back and that could see Marcos Alonso return to the mix. In this case, Reece James may drop to the bench.

Cesar Azpilcueta should return to his preferred right-back spot. At the heart of the backline, Antonio Rudiger could get another run in the starting lineup ahead of Andreas Christensen.

The Dane has experienced a couple of tough outings in the Premier League. Hence, Rudiger could accompany Kurt Zouma in the central defence. The German has plenty to prove, having also struggled with his form.

In the centre of the park, there could be the solitary change in the holding midfield role where Mateo Kovacic may get the nod over Jorginho. Mason Mount and Ross Barkley should take up the remaining midfield positions.

In the attack, Willian and Christian Pulisic will most likely retain their positions on the right and left wing respectively. Tammy Abraham is expected to drop to the bench for Olivier Giroud to start upfront.

Predicted Lineup (4-3-3): Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger, Marcos Alonso, Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley, Mason Mount, Willian, Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud
