Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Chelsea

Arsenal will welcome Chelsea in tonight's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have experienced a horrendous start to the current top-flight campaign and they have picked up only 14 points from as many games.

They are winless for the past seven matches with only two points gained and that sees them down in 15th, just four points ahead of the drop zone.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping for a change of fortunes when Frank Lampard's side visit the Emirates Stadium in a couple of hours.

Formation: 3-4-3

Predicted Lineup:

Bernd Leno has played every minute of the Gunners' league campaign and he is an automatic choice for the goalkeeping position.

In the back three, Arteta may go with the experience of David Luiz alongside Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes. Luiz could feature centrally.

At right wing-back, Hector Bellerin is likely to get the nod after being rested during the League Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester City.

On the opposite end, Kieran Tierney should be preferred ahead of Bukayo Saka as he is defensively better suited than the Gunners graduate.

Granit Xhaka is expected to return in the midfield after serving a three-game domestic suspension for his sending off for violent conduct vs Burnley.

That means that one of Mohamed Elneny or Dani Ceballos could drop to the bench and we are fancying the former to make way.

Further forward, Alexandre Lacazette should get the nod to lead the attack after finding the back of the net in midweek.

Willian has been in a poor run of form for the Gunners and has received plenty of criticism from the fans in recent weeks.

Still, he has shown that he can a big-game player in the past and Arteta is likely to trust him with the right-wing role against his ex-club.

On the opposite end, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be an automatic choice to start, provided he has overcome his minor calf problem.

Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-3): Bernd Leno; Rob Holding, David Luiz, Gabriel Magalhaes; Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos, Kieran Tierney; Willian, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
