Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Crystal Palace - FA Cup

Chelsea face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium this evening.

The Blues have beaten the Eagles in both Premier League meetings this term, and will be eyeing another victory.

The west London giants are aiming to reach the FA Cup final for the third-straight campaign.

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Predicted Line-up:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the regular choice in goal for the Cup matches. The Spaniard missed the quarter-final with an illness, but should return between the sticks for the London derby.

In the backline, a solitary change could be on the cards. Reece James featured in central defence in midweek, but Thomas Tuchel may play him in his preferred right wing-back role.

This could see Andreas Christensen reinstated into central defence alongside Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger. Marcos Alonso should be an undisputed pick for the left wing-back position.

In midfield, Jorginho looks set to start alongside Mateo Kovacic. N'Golo Kante could be dropped to the bench on the back of a poor showing in Madrid, where he lost possession on 16 occasions.

Further forward, it should be a straightforward pick for Tuchel with Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz getting the nod. Christian Pulisic was poor off the bench in midweek while Romelu Lukaku has just returned after a brief absence with an Achilles injury.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-1-2): Arrizabalaga; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; James, Kovacic, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount; Havertz, Werner.
