Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City, Xhaka returns
Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium for tonight's Premier League clash against Manchester City.
The Gunners have dropped points in each of their last three outings with draws and another setback against the Citizens could well end their title hopes.
Predicted Line-up:
Aaron Ramsdale made a costly mistake early on against Southampton and he will be hoping to make amends. The Englishman is expected to continue in goal.
In defence, it should be a familiar back four. Ben White, Rob Holding, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko are set to start. William Saliba remains sidelined with a back issue.
Thomas Partey was partnered by Fabio Vieira in midfield against the Saints. The latter had a difficult outing. Granit Xhaka should return in the number eight role after a bout of illness.
In attack, Mikel Arteta has the temptation to play Leandro Trossard in the line-up but he should stick with his preferred quartet of Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus has four league goals since his injury comeback and will be determined to make a mark against his former employers. He will be facing them for the first time.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus.
