Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Lens, Nketiah dropped
Arsenal face Lens on the road in the Champions League group stage tonight. The Gunners will be aiming for a second straight victory in the European competition. They beat PSV by a convincing 4-0 scoreline in the opener.
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya has started in the Premier League and Champions League games after the international break. He is expected to start between the sticks ahead of Aaron Ramsdale.
In defence, it should be the familiar back four for manager Mikel Arteta. Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko are expected to form the backline.
Similarly, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard are anticipated to continue as the midfield trio. Thomas Partey is back in full training after his injury, but could feature from the bench.
In attack, we expect one change from the 4-0 win at Bournemouth. Bukayo Saka will obviously start on the right wing, but we predict Leandro Trossard to feature on the other flank.
This obviously means that one of Gabriel Jesus or Eddie Nketiah would drop to the bench. We believe the latter will get axed from the XI after a lacklustre showing in the South Coast.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Havertz, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.
