Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Atletico tonight

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has named his starting line-up for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid tonight.

The Gunners have reached the last four of the competition for the second year running and will be aiming to make the final this time around.

Ahead of the first leg, Arteta has made two changes to the XI.

David Raya continues in goal for the north London heavyweights.

In defence, it is the same combination. Ben White and Piero Hincapie continue as the full-backs with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the heart of the backline.

Similarly, Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi feature in the centre of the park while Martin Odegaard captains the side from the number 10 position.

In the final third, Noni Madueke starts on the right wing, but there is a change on the opposite flank with Gabriel Martinelli starting ahead of Eberechi Eze tonight.

Eze picked up a minor injury scare last weekend and that could be a reason behind his bench role. Viktor Gyokeres leads the line against Atletico with Kai Havertz out injured.

Gyokeres netted a brace in the league phase of the Champions League against Atletico and will be eyeing a similar performance this time.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs Atletico: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Zubimendi, Rice; Madueke, Odegaard, Martinelli; Gyokeres.
