Predicted Liverpool lineup (4-3-3) vs West Ham United, Sturridge and Firmino start

How Liverpool could line up against West Ham

Liverpool will look to continue their recent winning momentum when they face off against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Reds cruised to a 3-0 league win over Huddersfield Town last weekend, and they produced a repeat performance in the midweek Champions League triumph over Maribor.

Formation: 4-3-3

Lineup:

Simon Mignolet has been Jurgen Klopp's preferred pick for Premier League duties, and he is certain to retain his spot between the sticks.

Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno have been rewarded with international call-ups with England and Spain respectively. The pair will surely start in the right-back and left-back positions.

Dejan Lovren is facing a race to be fit after his groin issue last weekend, and Ragnar Klavan could once again partner Joel Matip in central defence.

Georginio Wijnaldum is another doubt with an ankle injury sustained in the midweek European game, and James Milner is a probable candidate to take his place.

Skipper Jordan Henderson and Emre Can could retain their places alongside Milner to make up the three-man midfield for the Hammers clash.

Sadio Mane has returned to first-team training after his month long layoff with a hamstring problem, but he is unlikely to be risked from the start.

With this in mind, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are sure contenders to start on the left and right wing respectively whilst Daniel Sturridge could lead the line, having scored in his previous two games.

Philippe Coutinho is another sure absentee for the weekend having failed to recover from an adductor injury which has kept him out of recent matches against Huddersfield Town and Maribor.

Liverpool lineup (4-3-3): Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Milner, Henderson, Can, Salah, Firmino, Sturridge
