Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Tottenham

Arsenal can secure a fourth league win on the trot when they face north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on the road this weekend.

The Gunners are currently occupying the fourth position in the standings but they can't afford to drop points with Manchester United and Chelsea right behind them in the pursuit of the final Champions League spot.

Formation: 3-4-3

Predicted Lineup:

Bernd Leno has been a constant figure in the Gunners goal since October and he should retain his position between the sticks for the north London derby.

In the defence, Unai Emery is likely to go with a three-man backline and this may witness Sokratis, Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny retain their respective positions.

At right wing-back, Ainsley Maitland-Niles appears a strong pick for feature ahead of Stephan Lichtsteiner and Carl Jenkinson while Sead Kolasinac is likely to slot in the opposite end despite a minor muscular concern.

In the midfield, Matteo Guendouzi might be dropped after his average showing against Bournenmouth and he could be replaced by Granit Xhaka, who was rested for that game. The Swiss should partner Lucas Torreira.

Further forward, Henrikh Mkhitaryan should retain his position without any concern after bagging two goals and three assists in the past two league games alone.

Alongside the Armenian, Alex Iwobi could be tasked with the wider attacking role, given the Nigerian offers more in terms of intensity and tracking down opponents when compared to Mesut Ozil.

Upfront, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should lead the line. The Gabon international has done so in each of the previous three north London derbies against Spurs. He bagged a brace in the 4-2 triumph over Spurs earlier this term.
