Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) vs West Ham United, Kovacic and Pulisic start
Chelsea are scheduled to host West Ham United in tonight's derby in the Premier League. The Blues will be aiming to return to winning ways after suffering back-to-back defeats.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Lineup:
Edouard Mendy has been the regular between the sticks since his arrival from Rennes in the summer. He was not at his best against Everton and Wolves and will be eager to redeem himself.
In the defence, there will be an enforced change with Reece James out for the next few games with a knee injury. Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to replace him in the right-back spot.
Kai Havertz had a poor showing against Wolves and he is currently lacking the confidence in his gameplay. Mateo Kovacic could replace him in the midfield tonight.
In the attack, no changes are likely. Timo Werner has been poor with his finishing in recent weeks, but should continue on the left wing with Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, having just returned to training after respective hamstring injuries.
Chelsea Predicted XI: Edouard Mendy; Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell; Mateo Kovacic, N'Golo Kante, Mason Mount; Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud, Timo Werner
