Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Olympiacos, Lacazette returns

Predicted Arsenal starting lineup vs Olympiacos

Arsenal take on Olympiacos in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 tonight.

The Greek outfit shocked the Gunners last term as they eliminated them in the last 32 of the competition.

The north London giants will be aiming to avenge the result with a strong performance in Piraeus.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Lineup:

Bernd Leno is the Gunners' first-choice goalkeeper and he is expected to start between the sticks ahead of Mat Ryan.

Hector Bellerin should replace Calum Chambers at right-back while Gabriel Magalhaes may return in the central defence.

Pablo Mari has been the partner for David Luiz in recent games, but Gabriel could get the nod, having started the round of 32 ties.

Kieran Tierney is an automatic choice on the left side of the defence.

Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey should be the midfield pairing and they have plenty to prove after the weekend display.

Partey has lacked consistency amid regular injuries and he misplaced several passes in the recent 1-1 draw at Burnley.

Xhaka made a horrendous blunder which led to the Clarets equalising and he will be eager to redeem himself.

In the attack, there may be a solitary change with Willian making way.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may slot into the left-wing position for Alexandre Lacazette to lead the line.

Bukayo Saka is expected to feature on the right-wing with Martin Odegaard occupying the number 10 role.

Emile Smith Rowe may be available after a hip problem, but he may start the game on the substitutes' bench.

Predicted Arsenal lineup (4-2-3-1): Leno; Bellerin, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Aubameyang; Lacazette.
