Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-2) vs Man Utd

Arsenal face Manchester United at Old Trafford in tonight's Premier League clash. The Gunners are just one point adrift of the top four, and have the chance to leapfrog West Ham United with a victory.

Predicted Line-up:

Aaron Ramsdale has been splendid in goal in recent months, establishing himself as the number one ahead of Bernd Leno. He is expected to start against the Red Devils.

No changes are likely in defence. Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes have started every league game since the September international break, and they are set to continue in central defence.

Takehiro Tomiyasu bagged a superb assist for Gabriel Martinelli last week, and he is expected to start at right-back. Nuno Tavares should get the nod over Kieran Tierney at left-back once more.

The Portuguese ace was poor against Liverpool last month as he gifted a goal with a backpass. However, he made amends against Newcastle United at the weekend with the assist for the opening goal.

In midfield, Thomas Partey is an undisputed starter for the Gunners when fit. Albert Sambi Lokonga produced a much improved display against the Magpies after average outings against Watford and Liverpool.

The Belgium international impressed with his range of distribution, and almost delivered a superb long-range assist for Bukayo Saka. He should get the nod to partner Partey once again.

There could be an enforced change in the wide midfield roles. Emile Smith Rowe is set to figure on the left, but Saka is a big doubt with a thigh injury. Martinelli may start in his absence.

Martinelli scored with a stunning volley against the Magpies, and he could be rewarded with a starting role ahead of Nicolas Pepe, who has fallen out-of-favour over the past couple of months.

Alexandre Lacazette could be set to accompany Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a lacklustre display from Martin Odegaard last weekend, where he was prone to losing possession.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-4-2): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Martinelli, Partey, Lokonga, Smith Rowe; Lacazette, Aubameyang.
