Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Norwich today

Chelsea face Norwich City on the road in tonight's Premier League clash. The Blues are presently five points ahead of fourth-placed Arsenal.

They have an excellent chance of extending the gap against the Canaries. The Blues have won their last five meetings against them.

Predicted Line-up:

Edouard Mendy had a mixed outing against Burnley on the road last weekend where he nearly gifted the Clarets with the opening goal.

He made a poor attempt to punch the ball, but Dwight McNeil missed his target. Despite this, he should be a guaranteed starter between the sticks.

Andreas Christensen appears set to move on when his contract expires at the end of the season, but is still considered as a key player.

The Dane may replace Trevoh Chalobah on the right side of the backline. Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger are nailed-on starters.

With Reece James out with a fresh muscle injury, Cesar Azpilicueta is widely expected to start in the right wing-back position.

Marcos Alonso should come in for Saul Niguez on the opposite side, having overcome a bout of coronavirus, and returned to full training.

N'Golo Kante and Jorginho started in midfield at Turf Moor. Mateo Kovacic, who came off the bench, could now get the nod in the XI.

Kante has played the most among the trio since the winter break. He is likely to be handed a breather with the next game on Sunday.

Further forward, there could be a solitary change. Mason Mount could make way for Hakim Ziyech, who was an unused substitute recently.

Mount has been short of confidence since his ankle injury. On the other hand, Ziyech has scored in each of his last three league outings.

Christian Pulisic should partner the Moroccan in attack with Kai Havertz leading the line once again over Romelu Lukaku after bagging a brace.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1): Mendy; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kovacic, Jorginho, Alonso; Ziyech, Pulisic; Havertz.
